Hi Wags! I wonder if that theatre was the same one in which my mother, while on a date with my father, had a lizard crawl up her leg during a movie and screamed, causing everyone to jump up and ask "where's the Jap?" My mother's name was Shirley O'Mara Barker Nichols, and my Dad was John Nichols, a Hellcat pilot stationed on Saipan. He used to fly over and borrow a jeep from a motor pool Sgt. in return for sneaking his date out of the nurses' barracks with my mother.
